Pharmaceutical Solutions
Expired and unused medications for clinics, pharmacies, and hospitals, including hazardous RCRA pharmaceuticals and controlled substances. Every container is destroyed at a licensed facility and comes back with a certificate of destruction.
Ozone Treatment
Your waste will be shredded and sterilized with ozone at our Kingston facility in Birmingham. We are the first company in Alabama approved to treat medical waste this way. Nothing is burned, and there is no smokestack.

Ozone treatment, explained
What ozone is and why we use it.
- Oxygen O₂
The oxygen all around us.
- Charged
An electrical charge splits some of it apart.
- Ozone O₃
The loose atoms join up: oxygen with an extra atom.
- Destroys germs
The extra atom breaks away and tears through bacteria and viruses.
- Back to oxygen O₂
Within about 30 minutes, it is ordinary oxygen again.
What it is
Ozone is oxygen with an extra atom (O₃). That extra atom makes it unstable, and that is what makes it work: it destroys bacteria, viruses, and fungi on contact. Within about 30 minutes it falls back into ordinary oxygen (O₂).
How it's made
Our system makes ozone on demand, inside the unit, by passing an electrical charge through oxygen. It is made as it's used, so there is no tank of chemicals on site.
How it treats waste
Collected medical waste goes straight into a shredder. The shredded waste is treated with ozone carried through water, which reaches every fragment. What comes out is sterile and unrecognizable.
